Since the traffic lights were first vandalised in Chislehurst at the High Street junction last week, and at the War Memorial earlier this week, we have been in contact with TfL and with our Assembly Member, Peter Fortune, about the need to make these junctions safe as soon as possible for drivers and pedestrians alike.
When speaking to Peter yesterday, we reiterated the need to urge TfL to prioritise repairs in Chislehurst, particularly at the War Memorial so heavily used by school children & elderly. As yet, we are afraid we do not have any timings.
We appreciate how disruptive this has been for us all but rest assured we are doing all we can to make our roads safer.
